Rhiannon + Nick's Wedding Day | Kimberly Potterf Photography | High Line Car House | Columbus, Ohio

Rhiannon was the sweetest and cutiest bride! We all just fell in love with her!!

She got ready at the Hilton in downtown Columbus (just outside of the Short North). The whole wedding party got their hair and makeup done.

Yes! They got married in the middle of a pandemic (Covid 19) but that didn't stop them from professing their love for one another.

Kimberly Potterf Photography captured every precious moment. A little more about Kimberly right here.

I want to share what Kimberly's website says because she says it so eloquently:

"At the heart of who I am, I thrive on connection and genuinely love meeting people (almost as much as I love meeting dogs, but just keeping it honest!)

I don’t just want to capture how you look, I want to capture how you feel. This is why I believe some of the most powerful images are born out of truly authentic moments. So whether I’m capturing your wedding day or creating portraits for you or your family, it’s important to me that you enjoy the experience. When we are able to keep stress and distractions to a minimum, you’re generally free to be more present in every meaningful moment – and I believe that is when the magic truly happens.

As your photographer, it is my commitment to you to always do my best to deliver a rich and meaningful collection of photographs – and to do so in the most enjoyable way. Hop on over to the REVIEWS section to see what past clients have shared about their own experiences. "

Want a sweet little love story about Rhiannon and Nick?

“Our engagement story”

"The summer of 2019, we had planned a European vacation to visit Rhiannon’s dad while he was doing research in Ireland. This is when Nick came up with the wonderful idea to use this vacation as the perfect opportunity to ask Rhiannon is she would spend the rest of her life with him. The trip consisted of a short stop over in Iceland (after which they would continue on to Ireland and England). Nick’s original plan was to propose at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, but the more he thought about it and the closer it got to vacation, he decided to “call an audible!” On their second day in Iceland, Nick took Rhiannon to the Blue Lagoon (for a relaxing Spa Day) a romantic meal at the Lagoons Restaurant, and then lastly to visit the only hot spring in Reykjavik. **Just as an added bonus, Nick found a Cat Cafe that morning for breakfast—this made the day even more memorable (as anyone who knows Rhiannon knows that she is a major cat lover!) ** On the way to the only hot spring in Reykjavik, Rhiannon was unfortunately feeling car sick and it also was beginning to rain. Nick began to get super nervous that he may not be able to get her out of the car to go see the hot spring he planned to propose in front of. Lucky for him, the skies actually cleared, Rhiannon was feeling good, and he was able to get down on one knee! Obviously, Rhiannon said “Yes!” and Iceland became forever a special place for both of them. The rest of the vacation was a wonderful two week celebration that is unforgettable. "

ADORABLE!!!

Their first look was simply adorable as well. I am finding myself saying that a lot about this couple. haha

The first look was set in the gorgeous setting of the Hilton lobby.

The Brewery District, Downtown Columbus :

"In the hip Brewery District, craft beer bars and music venues occupy converted Victorian breweries. The area’s lively dining scene encompasses gastropubs, tapas spots, and farm-to-table restaurants. Shadowbox Live stages experimental theater, comedy, and dance. Developed on industrial wasteland, Scioto Audubon Metro Park is a riverside green space with trails, a climbing wall, and birdlife such as peregrine falcons."

Not to mention the host of many amazing wedding venues.
